New Delhi: Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), formerly Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology and Delhi Institute of Technology, has released MTech Admission 2020. MTech Admission available for both GATE and non-GATE category.

Total MTech Seats: The total number of MTech seats are 410: 342 seats;  68 seats for Supernumerary seats. Out of 368 normal seats, 249 seats are the maximum number of seats to be offered  for AICTE Scholarship stipends.

Key Dates:

Valid GATE score holder candidates – 27 June 2020 (Saturday) to 21 July 2020 (Tuesday)

NSUT Merit list based candidates- – 27 June 2020 (Saturday) to 21 July 2020 (Tuesday)

Display of 1ST List of shortlisted candidates for admission with corrected percentage and Gate Score- 24 July 2020 (Friday).

Total : 410 Seats

Eligibility Conditions: Minimum 60% of marks or equivalent CGPA in qualifying degree examination is required for Admission to all M. Tech. programmes mentioned in the Table 1 of the Admission Brochure. However, a relaxation of 5% in marks or equivalent CGPA will be given to the candidates of the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PH).

In each discipline, maximum numbers of AICTE GATE scholarships available are mentioned in the Admission Prospectus.  Valid GATE score holders will be given the first preference in admission.

However, number of AICTE scholarships will be restricted as per the table 2 of the Admission Brochure even if a candidate has taken admission using valid GATE score. These candidates may seek financial assistance under the UTA. Details of UTA are given in the brochure.

Non-GATE candidates who have appeared in the interviews through the Google Meet and have marks above the cutoff marks as decided by the University may be offered admission for Full Time M. Tech. programme subject to the vacancy in the respective programme and as per the applicable policy of reservation in that category.
