Ahmedabad, 01 August 2021: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad, the organizing Institute for Common Admission Test CAT 2021, has released official notification for the test.
The CAT 2021 Test will be held on 28 November 2021 (Sunday). CAT 2021 Exam will be held in three sessions. Registration of application for CAT 2021will open from 4 August to 15 September 2021.
Key Highlights of CAT 2021:
- CAT 2021 Exam will be held in three sessions on 28 November 2021
- Registration for CAT 2021 is open from 4 August to 15 September 2021
- CAT 2021 Registration Fee: Rs 1100/- for SC,ST and PwDs and Rs.2200/- for others.
- Exam will be held in 156 Test Cities
- Candidates will be given the option to select six cities in order of their preference.

Common Admission Test is the largest national level entrance test for MBA admission in IIMs and other top MBA institutes in India.
CAT 2020 (previous Year): Last year also CAT exam was conducted by IIM Indore. The test was held in 3 sessions, with a reduced number of 76 questions, reduced time limit of two hours due to Covid-19 pandemic.
CAT 2020 was conducted in three shifts on 29 November 2020. A total of 1,90,144 candidates had appeared for the examination.
