Jammu: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu under the able guidance and leadership of Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu is organizing an Annual Intra Institute Sports Festival – SECTION WARS 2.0 at its Canal Road Campus from 17th Dec to 18th Dec 2022. The Annual Sports Meet will be a two-day grand power-packed sports meet where students at the Institute will be competing in a series of activities ranging from football, basketball, table tennis, badminton, chess, pumping-iron, throwball, and box cricket.
The inaugural event was successfully inaugurated by Prof. Jabir Ali, Dean Academics, Dr. Ashish Kumar, Chairperson, Student Affairs, Dr. Apurva, Co-Chairperson, Student Affairs, and Cmdr. Kesavan Baskkaran, Chief Administrative Officer, IIM Jammu. The inaugural event was attended by the faculty, staff, and students at the Institute. The event commenced with the unveiling of the trophies by Prof. Jabir Ali, Dean of Academics, IIM Jammu. This was followed by the first serve by Dean Academics and Chairperson student affairs, and by faculty and other staff members, The entire annual sports meet is being coordinated by the student affairs office, IIM Jammu. Present on the occasion was Dr. Nitin Upadhyay, Chairperson, MBA, IIM Jammu.
