New Delhi: India Today magazine has come up with its most awaited 24th edition of India’s Best College’s survey elucidating the most authentic progress of colleges across the country.
Hindu College, Delhi has crowned as the Best College in India under Arts category. IIT Delhi stands No 1 for the fifth time in a row under Engineering category. Hindu College, Delhi secures top rank under Science category while Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi grabs top position under Commerce.
Under BBA, Saheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies emerges as Top ranker while for BCA, Department of Computer Science, Christ, Bengaluru finds No1 position. Meanwhile, under Social Work, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai finds leadership position as for Fashion category, National Institute of Fashion Technology , Delhi finds Top spot.
India Today Best Colleges survey guides the students to the colleges which charge the lowest course fee and most importantly, helps with the placements. The survey also brings the emerging colleges of India—colleges that were set up in this century, in or after the year 2000—across all 14 streams.
Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), New Delhi garbs Top position in Mass Communication category.
India Today Best Colleges special issue survey covering prominent colleges across 31 cities, which hit the stand on 26 June 2020. The India Today Group conducted the survey in association with Delhi-based market research agency ‘Marketing & Development Research Associates (MDRA)’ between November 2019 and June 2020.
These indicators were clubbed into five broad parameters- ‘Intake Quality & Governance’, ‘Academic Excellence’, ‘Infrastructure & Living Experience’, ‘Personality & Leadership Development’ and ‘Career Progression & Placement’.
Moreover, to give more realistic, relevant and accurate information, the survey evaluated the colleges based on data for the current year.
