The Indian Institute of Management Ranchi announces the inauguration of the MBA-Executive program for the 2023-25 batch. Distinguished guests, esteemed faculty, and enthusiastic students gathered to commemorate this auspicious occasion. Shri S.K. Jahagirdar, Chief General Manager of NABARD, graced the event as the Chief Guest, adding prestige and wisdom to the inauguration ceremony.

The event commenced with Dr. Amit Sachan, Chairperson of the Executive MBA program, delivering an enlightening speech. Dr. Sachan provided an overview of the program, highlighting its historical significance and impressive legacy. He encouraged the incoming batch to “Bring your experience, not your designation,” emphasizing the value of personal growth and knowledge sharing.

Dr. Pradeep Kumar Bala, Dean-Academic Affairs & Development, emphasized the importance of work experience in an MBA program and highlighted the significance of ethics and social responsibility in corporate and classroom environments. His inspiring words set the tone for the new batch’s journey towards excellence.

Prof. Deepak Kumar Srivastava, Director, IIM Ranchi, delivered a thought-provoking speech. Prof.  Srivastava expounded on the institute’s teaching philosophy, emphasizing the presence of multiple realities and the importance of critical thinking and problem-solving skills. He shed light on the program’s design and its alignment with the changing landscape of executive education.

The highlight of the evening was the address by Shri S.K. Jahagirdar, the esteemed Chief Guest. He extended his warm congratulations to the incoming batch, expressing his confidence in their abilities. Shri Jahagirdar shared valuable insights on managing the delicate balance between work, personal life, and studies.
