New Delhi, 11 June 2020: The long wait for National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2020, popularly known India Rankings 2020, will be over. The Ministry of HRD will release today India Rankings 2020 report today noon. The process of report has been delayed due to COVID 19 pandemic.

 Union HRD Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank  informed that NIRF 2020 reports will be announced at 12 Noon on 11 June 2020 (Today). The Minister said “Excited to know which all universities and institutions made it to the list of NIRF Ranking 2020?”

As the University Grants Commission (UGC) has already released Guidelines for Academic and Examination Calendar for upcoming academic year, the NIRF 2020 will guide students in selecting their dream institution.

Rankings will be done in the following categories of universities, institutions and colleges: Overall, University, Engineering, College, Management, Pharmacy, law, Architecture, Medical.

The ranking parameters broadly cover “Teaching, Learning and Resources,” “Research and Professional Practices,” “Graduation Outcomes,” “Outreach and Inclusivity,” and “Perception”.
