India : Skill-Lync, India’s leading engineering EdTech start-up, announces their partnership with FFE (Foundation for Excellence) to train and equip 30 FFE scholars with employable engineering skills through Skill-Lync’s unique project-based learning approach.

Foundation For Excellence is a philanthropic foundation that provides scholarships to merit students with financial constraints for college degrees. This partnership with Skill-Lync is an initiative by FFE to better prepare their scholars for career opportunities and increase their ability to secure jobs.

As part of this partnership, 30 FFE scholars from IITs, NITs and other premier engineering colleges in Pune and Bangalore, will be taking up courses in Mechanical & Civil Engineering at Skill-Lync.

SuryaNarayanan PaneerSelvam, Co-Founder of Skill-Lync said, “We are glad to partner with FFE. FFE has been enabling accessibility of high-quality education for some of the best students in the country. Skill-Lync’s partnership with FFE will help the students get access to industry relevant courses that will make them job ready. We believe that this is the beginning and over a period of time we can ac71

celebrate our partnership with FFE to help many more students get the required skills that will help them succeed in their career.”

Skill-Lync courses are designed to train students in the skills that are in demand in the industry. Students are trained in core industry concepts and tools through projects that are similar to the ones being carried out in engineering firms around the world. Skill-Lync provides a platform for FFE scholars to accelerate their career by polishing and providing training for skills that will help them get employed.

Skill-Lync achieves this by providing access to all selected FFE scholars to their Learning Management System, individual and group tutoring sessions, access to technical forums and discussions, and periodic assessments of their course work. Skill-Lync will also be providing Career Services to help the FFE scholars become job ready. This will include building resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and creating a Technical Project Portfolio. Skill-Lync will also help the FFE scholars with interview preparation through mock interviews by technical experts and providing access to Skill-Lync’s repository of Interview preparation material.
