Bangalore: Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM), Bangalore, a leading graduate school of management in Asia, has over hundred full-time faculty, more than 1200 students across various degree granting programmes and nearly 6000 participants going through various executive education programmes.
IIM Bangalore invites applications from eligible candidates for faculty positions at various levels as follows: Assistant Professor/Faculty Fellow; Associate Professor; Professor.
Eligibility Conditions:
- Assistant Professor/Faculty Fellow: Candidates applying for this position must demonstrate capability for carrying out high quality research and should have completed or be at the final stages of completing their PhD. Assistant Professors will be on 3+3 year contract. Faculty Fellow will be on 3 year contract. Based on the performance, Faculty Fellows will be considered for Assistant Professorship.
- Associate Professor: Candidates applying for this position should have a credible track record of research and teaching.
- Professor: Candidates applying for this position are, in addition to the above capabilities, expected to provide academic leadership.
All candidates would be expected to contribute to the Institute’s Postgraduate, Doctoral and Executive Programmes.
Total Vacant Posts: 20 faculty positions (12 in reserved category) are available during the year 2020-21.
Subjects: Applications are invited from candidates in all fields of Management and Public Policy including, but limited to, Accounting, Communications, Decision Sciences, Economics, Finance, Human Resources, Information Systems, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Operations Management, Operations Research, Organizational Behaviour, Public Policy, and Strategy.
