Minimum Educational Qualifications for Assistant Professors Grade I:
Assistant Professor Grade-I:
Should have a Ph.D. with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout and at least three years of relevant post Ph.D. teaching/research/ industrial experience.
Assistant Professor Grade-II (on contract):
Should have a Ph.D. with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
