Rajgir, Nalanda, Bihar: Nalanda University, an International University under Ministry of External Affairs, is  recruiting Faculty Posts. These posts are available at the following levels: Teaching Fellows, Assistant Professors , Associate Professors and Professors.

Eligibility Conditions:

The Position of Assistant Professor (Scale of Pay: USD 15,000-25,000 per Annum)/Teaching Fellow(USD 15,000 per Annum)

1. a) Good academic record with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale at the Master’s level in a relevant subject from an Indian or foreign University.
2. b) Ph.D. or post-doctoral research in the allied/relevant discipline.
3. c) Actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of Three (3) to Five (5) publications as books and/or research/policy papers published in peer reviewed journals of national and international repute.
4. d) Evidence of Innovative Courses/Teaching Plan/Research (desirable).

The Position of Associate Professor (Scale of Pay: USD 20,000-35,000 per Annum)

1. a) Brilliant academic record with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed at the Masters level preferably with international teaching experience.
2. b) Ph.D. or post-doctoral research in the allied/relevant discipline.
3. c) A minimum of Three (03) to Five (05) years of experience in teaching and research at national and international level with a minimum Three (3) Ph.D./M.Phil. awarded under her/his supervision.
4. d) Actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of Eight (8) publications as books and/or research/policy papers published in peer reviewed journals of national and international repute.
5. e) Evidence of Innovative Courses/Teaching Plan/Research (desirable).

 The Position of Professor (Scale of Pay: USD 30,000-45,000 per Annum)

1. a) Outstanding academic record with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed at the Masters’ level preferably with international teaching experience.
2. b) Ph.D. or post-doctoral research in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
3. c) A minimum of Seven (07) to Eight (08) years of experience as Associate Professor or equivalent position along with quality research (high) with a minimum Five (5) Ph.D./M.Phil. awarded under her/his supervision.
4. d) Actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of Ten (10) publications as books and/or research/policy papers published in peer reviewed journals of national and international repute.
5. e) Evidence of Innovative Courses/Teaching Plan/Research (desirable).
