New Delhi, 26 August 2020: Every PhD degree holders have a dream to start career in IITs. In India there are 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). The entry level faculty jobs in IITs is Assistant Professor Grade II.
Qualification for Assistant Professors: PhD With First Class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
Experience for the post :
Assistant Professor (Grade I): At least 3 years teaching /research /industrial experience excluding however , the experience gained while pursuing PhD.
Assistant Professor (Grade II): Candidates with less than 3 years experience may be appointed on contractual basis as Assistant Professor ,Grade II .
