New Delhi: Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a mandatory requirement for seeking admission and/or financial assistance to Postgraduate Programs (Master’s and Doctoral) with Ministry of Education (MoE) and other Government Scholarships / Assistantships, subject to the admission criteria of the admitting institute.
There are many Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) also recruit Graduate Engineers based on GATE Score. These PSUs use GATE Score for shortlisting candidates for their Graduate Engineer Recruitment drive. The closing date of regular online registration / application portal for GATE 2021 is 30 September 2020.
Till now three Maharatna PSUs have officially notified for their upcoming recruitment drive for Graduate Engineers through GATE 2021.

NMDC Limited will recruit Executive Trainees via GATE 2021
NMDC Limited, is an Indian public sector mineral producer, has announced to recruit Executive Trainees (Engineering Graduates) on the basis GATE 2021 score in various technical disciplines subjects to availability of vacancies.
Executive Trainees 2021 Through GATE 2021: All interested candidates and eligible candidates will have to appear GATE 2021. Candidates will be shortlisted for further selection process based on GATE 2021. NMDC will recruit Graduate Engineers in the disciplines of Electrical, Mechanical and Mining.
Candidates need to apply online for the post of Executive Trainees 2021 after getting their GATE 2021 Registration Number /ID by using link available on the careers page of the official website of NMDC.
The online application process will commence from January/February 2021.
IndianOil will recruit Engineers through GATE 2021 in five disciplines
New Delhi: Indian Oil Corporation (IndianOil) has announced Recruitment of Officers/Engineers through GATE-2021. The recruitment of executive engineers will done on the following disciplines: Chemical (CH), Civil (CE), Electrical (EE), Instrumental (IN), and Mechanical (ME).
Shortlisting for Group Discussion, Group Task and Personnel Interview will based on GATE 2021 score in respective disciplines. Score of GATE 2020 will not be valid. Candidates should apply separately for GATE 2021 and IndianOil.

Coal India Limited will recruit Management Trainees (Engineering Graduates) via GATE 2021
Coal India Limited, the largest coal-producing company in the world and a Maharatna public sector undertaking Indian public sector, has announced to recruit Management Trainees (Engineering Graduates) on the basis GATE 2021 score in various technical disciplines subjects to availability of vacancies.
CIL intends to recruit Management Trainees (Engineering Graduates) on the basis GATE 2021 score in various technical disciplines subjects to availability of vacancies. Exact number of vacancies shall be declared in the detailed advertisement to be published in 2021 in employment news .
