Bangalore: Intuit India has been ranked No. 1 in the ‘India’s Best Companies to Work For – 2017’ list, and ranked No. 1 in the Information Technology category. This year, Intuit India has also been recognized as one of the best companies in the Employee Wellness and Employer Branding categories. It marks Intuit India’s fourth consecutive top 10 ranking and its best rank over the last eight consecutive appearances on the list released annually by the Great Place to Work (GPTW) Institute in partnership with The Economic Times. Intuit India was ranked 10th in 2016.

Intuit Inc. (NASDAQ: INTU), is the world’s leading provider of business and financial management solutions for small businesses and consumers. Its India operations include more than 1000 employees working in the company’s India Development Center and the India business organization.

“At Intuit, we strive to create an environment where our employees are empowered to deliver awesome, every day,” said Vijay Anand, Senior Vice President and Head, Intuit Global Development Centers. “Our culture of trust, pride, and camaraderie inspires each of us to bring our best to work. It helps us leave a lasting impression on our customers as well. I believe that’s why we consistently ranked among the very best in India and around the world.”

Over the last year, Intuit India has invested in building programs to drive employee engagement and retention. The organization invests in employees and empowers them to play a significant role in making Intuit a great workplace. The result of this approach was Intuit India’s Great Place to Work Ambassadors program, which brought together employees to contribute the best stories and people practices across the company.

“The Ambassador program gives employees the chance to become the voice of the company,” said Somnath Baishya, HR Director, Intuit Global Development Centers. “They get the opportunity to talk about the thriving workforce at Intuit, how passionate they are about their work, and their commitment to Intuit. For us, that is the best recognition we can get for our efforts to create an ideal work environment for our employees.”

Intuit also has developed programs supporting diversity and inclusion. To support those with special needs and raise awareness among employees, the company conducted sign language and sensitization workshops for hiring managers, teams, and key stakeholders. In addition, the company hired interns with special needs who received training in assistive technology and product accessibility.
