Chennai, 20 May 2021: Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI), a research and education institute in Chennai, has announced Admission 2021. BSc, MSc and PhD programmes are available for Admission 2021.
List of Programmes with Eligibility for Admission 2021:
BSc (Hons.) Mathematics and Computer Science: 12th standard or equivalent.
BSc (Hons.) Mathematics and Physics: 12th standard or equivalent.
MSc in Mathematics: Undergraduate degree (BA, BSc, BE, BTech, …) with a strong background in mathematics.
MSc in Computer Science: Undergraduate degree (BA, BSc, BE, BTech, …) with a strong background in computer science.
MSc in Data Science: Undergraduate degree (BA, BSc, BE, BTech, …) with a background in mathematics/statistics/computer science.
PhD in Mathematics: B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc.(Math)/M.Sc.(Math).
PhD in Computer Science: B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc.(C.S.)/M.C.A.
PhD in Physics: M.Sc.(Physics).
For all programmes other than PhD Physics, applicants will have to take an entrance examination. The entrance examinations for 2021-22 will take place on 27 June, 2021 at the following locations:

Last date to fill out online applications, (including online payments): Monday, 31 May, 2021, 23:59 IST
Admit Cards to be available online: Tuesday, 15 June, 2021.
Date of the Entrance Examination: Sunday, 27 June, 2021.
Date of announcement of results: Approximately one month from the date of the entrance examination.
Academic session starts: Monday, 23 August, 2021.
