New Delhi, 13 August 2020: There are 53 Central Universities in India as on 04 August 2020. Considering quality of education and affordability factor, getting admission to these universities is a dream for students. These universities offer UG, PG (MA,MSc, MTech), Integrated Degree, MPhil, PhD, Diploma, Certificate courses on various subjects.
Out of these 53 Central Universities, there are 14 universities where admission portals are open and eligible candidates can apply. These CUs are not participating in the Central Universities Common Entrance Test.
Visva-Bharati University, a Central University and an Institute of national Importance, announces Admission 2020 for UG, PG, MPhil & PhD, PG Diploma, Certificate other programmes. Visva-Bharati University Admission 2020: PhD for 338 seats and MPhil for 156 Seats.
University of Allahabad, a Central University in Uttar Pradesh, has announced Combined Research Entrance Test (CRET) 2020 for admission to PhD Programmes. These PhD programmes are available in the university main Campus and its 8 Constituent Colleges.
Pondicherry University has announced Admission for MA, MSc, MTech, MBA, PhD Programmes 2020-21. The University will conduct Entrance Test for admission to these programmes. The closing date for submission of online application is 17 Augusts 2020.
Mahatma Gandhi Central University (MGCU), Motihari has extended closing date for submission of application to 16 August 2020. At Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi for MPhil & PhD, the last date is 20 Aug 2020. PhD Admission is open in North-Eastern Hill University Shillong for AY 2020-21.
