As on 10 June 2021, there are two NITs and two Central Universities which have opened PhD Admission window for July 2021 session. Regular PhD Scholars will be eligible for Research Assistantship.

Selection will he held on Online/Offline Written Test considering COVID 19 pandemic. Institute Scholarship benefits are available for Full Time Research scholars.

Stipend / Financial Assistance:
Assistantship to the regular students (NET/GATE or equivalent) as per MHRD rules may be given subject to availability of fund. The candidate with no NET/GATE will be in self sponsored category.

Dimapur, Nagaland, 21 May 2021: National Institute of Technology (NIT) Nagaland, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission to PhD Program (Full Time / Part Time) 2020-21 Semester commencing from July 2021.
