Imphal, 10 June 2021: National Institute of Technology (NIT) Manipur, an Institute of National Importance, has invited applications for PhD Programmes for July 2021 Session. Institute Assistantship benefits are available for Full Time Research scholars.
Selection Procedure:
The mode of selection will be done online.
Stipend / Financial Assistance:
Assistantship to the regular students (NET/GATE or equivalent) as per MHRD rules may be given subject to availability of fund. The candidate with no NET/GATE will be in self sponsored category.
The Institute admits PhD students under the following Categories:
- Regular
- Sponsored (Full Time)
- Self-sponsored (Full Time)
- Part-time
- Project Staff*
- External
* JRF – External funded projects
Institute fellowship will be provided only for NET/GATE qualified students
Key Dates & Application Fees: The last date for receipt of Soft/hard copy of Application form is 23 June 2021. Application fee (Rs. 500 for Gen/OBC and Rs. 250 for SC/ST).
