New Delhi, 07 October 2020: PhD Admission for the current semester is at the end phase. On the other hand PhD Admission for coming semester (December 2020/January 2020) has commenced and gained momentum.
As on 07 October 2020, there are five Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) have released PhD Admission notification for January 2021 session. There four Central Universities which have opened PhD Admission for AY 2020-21. There are One NIT and one IITDM have released PhD Admission for next semester. There are three IISERs which have released PhD Admission for January 2021 session.
Among IITs, IIT Bombay has opened PhD Admission for 249 seats with Teaching Assistantships. IIT Madras released PhD Admission for InterDisciplinary Research Program November 2020. IIT Ropar, IIT Gandhinagar and IIT Indore have also released PhD Admission Notification.
Among Central Universities, Sikkim University, Mizoram University, Arunachal Pradesh University have announced PhD Admission. Also Central University of Tamil Nadu has released Part Time PhD Admission for 20 Departments.
Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal, popularly known as NIT Bhopal, has released PhD Admission for 200 seats. Here, the closing date for submission of application is 29 October 2020. Out of Seven Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER), three of them have announced PhD Admission for January 2021 session. These are as followed: IISER Mohali, IISER Bhopal and IISER Tirupati.
