University of Burdwan Opens PhD Admission 2021: 129 Seats for PhD, 115 Seats for MPhil
Burdwan, 05 February 2022: The University of Burdwan, a state university in West Bengal, has announced PhD/ MPhil Admission 2021. Admission is available in the following programmes: Admission to the PhD Programme-2020, MPhil Programme (2020-2022) and State Funded Fellowship (2020).

Vacancy Position under Faculty Council (Science): PhD 65 Seats, MPhil 31 Seats
Vacancy Position under Faculty Council (Arts, Com, Law, etc): PhD 64 Seats, MPhil 84 Seats

Eligibility: At least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC-7 point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in concerned or allied subject at Post Graduate or at equivalent level.
Relaxation for SC/ST/OBCA/OBCB/DA, 5% of marks or equivalent in case of grade.
The eligibility marks are permissible based only on the qualification marks without including the grace mark procedures.
Sido Kanhu Murmu University, Dumka Opens PhD Admission 2022 for 407 Seats
Dumka, 03 February 2022: Sido Kanhu Murmu University (SKMU), a state university in Jharkhand, has announced Admission for PhD Programmes. The total number of PhD Seats are 407 in 16 Departments.
Key Dates: The closing date for submission of application is 10 February 2022.
The admission to the PhD programme is guided by the U.G.C. regulations and other relevant rules of the University. Admission to the programme will be based on the Ph.D Entrance Test (PET).
Candidates for admission to the Ph.D. program shall have a Master’s degree with at least 55% of marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade. A relaxation of 5% of marks or an equivalent relaxation of grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC- A/OBC-B/ Person with Disability (PwD) as per UGC guidelines. Candidates with UGC/CSIR-JRF/NET/SLET/GATE are exempted from appearing in the entrance exam but each need to fill the application form for Ph.D program.
Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar Opens PhD Admission 2022 for 85 Seats
