Hyderabad, 20 March 2022: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Hyderabad, an Institute of National Importance in India, announces the call for the fifth round ( admission for the June/July– 2023 ) of FIRST scheme for supporting bright and motivated international scholars for pursuing PhD at IIT Hyderabad with full financial support.
Fellowship Duration : 4 years
Eligibility Conditions:
Foreign Nationals (except OCI/NRI) with Excellent Academic qualifications having a master’s degree in Engineering / Technology in the relevant disciplines and minimum CGPA of 8.0 on a 10-point scale or equivalent.
Candidates should complete either Bachelor or Master’s degree in any of the foreign universities
Desirable:
Degree from a topline university in their respective countries, Research output in terms of publications/patents will be given a weightage during shortlisting.
Financial Assistance
Fellowship Amount: 60,000/- INR Per Month.
Contingency Support: 1,00,000/- INR per Year.
