Oakland/Mumbai:  Bersin by Deloitte, Deloitte Consulting LLP, called for applications for its 2017 WhatWorks Award program, which recognizes organizations that have developed and implemented innovative solutions to critical HR, learning and talent challenges resulting in positive operational and business impact.

Bersin by Deloitte will recognize five finalists and one award recipient for innovation across the critical areas of high-impact HR, learning and talent at its annual research and development conference, IMPACT 2017, slated to take place next spring. Now in its fifth year, the program is offered in an exclusive collaboration between Bersin by Deloitte and Human Resource Executive magazine. Organizations interested in submitting for this prestigious award can go to http://www.bersin.com/wwawards/how_apply.aspx  to download applications. The deadline for submissions is October 28, 2016.

As per the statement by Bersin by Deloitte, organizations from all countries and all industries can apply for the WhatWorks Award Program. Corporations and vendors may apply on behalf of their own internal operations, and vendors and PR representatives may submit applications on behalf of their clients.

“Many HR leaders and their organizations continue to step up to harness new technologies, simplify processes, and drive a culture of collaboration, empowerment and innovation – all while improving their businesses,” said David Mallon, head of research, Bersin by Deloitte, Deloitte Consulting LLP. “We anticipate that this year we will again receive inspiring stories from a range of HR organizations worldwide about how they have achieved significant operational and business improvement by employing original approaches to meet their key challenges.”

Industry leaders will again join Bersin by Deloitte analysts in choosing five finalists in the following areas: Transforming HR; Developing Tomorrow’s Leaders; Enabling High-Impact Learning; Acquiring Top Talent; and Optimizing Talent Management. Immediately following the five finalist presentations at Bersin by Deloitte’s IMPACT 2017, conference attendees will choose an ultimate award recipient.

In addition, Bersin by Deloitte will develop a WhatWorks report on leading practices, findings and observations that emerge from the evaluation process. Findings from that report will be showcased in Human Resource Executive magazine.

Previous winners include organizations from around the world in a range of sizes and industries. These include Marriott International, which was recognized for developing a program that creates a highly trained pipeline of entry-level leaders while providing a globally consistent and enriching experience for the company’s next generation of leaders; Rackspace® Hosting, for offering training programs that provide technical career development and career growth opportunities for non-employees interested in starting their information and technology careers; and Glassdoor for its Enhanced Employer Profiles which provide employers a channel through which to have targeted conversations with informed job candidates.
