Bhubaneswar: Entrepreneurship is all about finding solutions to a societal problem and sustaining on it with a profitable factor. The oxygen for start-up is understanding the ‘Pain-points’ of the customer , said Lt. Col Ashit Mahapatra, Managing Director of Agri Link Food Processing Pvt Ltd, while addressing learning and development professionals at the monthly meet of L & D Global Bhubaneswar Chapter. The monthly meet was held on 02 October 2016 on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, which was attended by more than 50 L & D professionals.
Initiating the discussion session on “Where Eagles Dare – Facing the Unknown”, Lt. Col Ashit Mahapatra said that a leaders should set example by giving more and taking less. The organizations should build a vibrant culture of honesty, transparency, ownership, mutual trust, etc, added he.
Initiating the talk show on Opening the Pandora Box of Knowledge, Mr. Surya Prakash Mohapatra, founder of L & D Global, commented that purpose in a life drives the success eventually. “Bill Gates had the purpose on simplifying the software of those times rather just to be simply successful in life. It’s the purpose which makes a leader and makes you passionate to achieve the goal. A true leader help others before helping himself.” added Mr Mohapatra.
Leadership is all about inspiring people. Mr Mohapatra explained this by narrating the story of the Elephant and the little Bird. “I am not a trainer or teacher, but the greatest designation that I want to give myself is student”, added he.
