Mumbai: Graduate Aptitude Test Engineering (GATE) is generally conducted by IISc and IITs for admissions for into MTech and PhD courses in IITs, IISc and various other Institutes, universities and laboratories. Also, the GATE 2017 Score is also being used as one of the criteria for recruitment in Government Organizations especially, public sector undertakings (PSU). Now, premier private sector companies have started joining the recruitment bandwagon via GATE.
Tata Power, a leading integrated power company and a part of Tata Group, has notified jobs application for Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET 2017) from engineering graduates in following disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Controls & Instrumentation, and Power engineering. GET 2017 recruitment scheme will be done via GATE 2017 score.
The application form for GET Batch 2017 will be available on www.tatapower.com from March 2017. Hence, interested candidates should follow the portal on a regular basis. The company informed that shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussions and Personal Interviews.
As per the job notification, all the GETs will undergo a one-year induction training programme which contains the following: Tata Power and Tata Group Induction, Technical Training, Functional Training, Class room training, On the Job training, Projects, and Managerial Skill Development.
Eligibility Criteria:
A valid GATE score
Passed out with Engineering degree in 2017 batch in disciplines mentioned above from institution recognized by UGC/AICTE
Minimum 60% in all exams i.e. SSE, HSE, Graduation (All semester) with no year drop or ATKT
