New Delhi: Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) in partnership with Apparel Training & Design Centre (ATDC), Pearl Academy and National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has been appointed by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) as facilitators for organising the for Pre National Selections for Worldskills 2017 for the skill Fashion Technology.

NSDC, through its initiative, has been leading the country’s participation at WorldSkills International competitions since 2011. Winners of the competition would qualify for selections of Worldskills Abu Dhabi, 2017.

Here it can be noted that the screening round would be held on 12 November, 2016. The 12 shortlisted candidates would then qualify for the next round of competition scheduled to be held on 13 November, 2016. The shortlisted candidates would then further qualify for the Pre National Selections for Worldskills 2017 scheduled to be held in February 2017 where they would compete with the 3 Winners of India Skills Competition 2016. The winner would represent India at Worldskills Abu Dhabi, 2017.
