New Delhi, 20 February 2019: Great Learning, the leading Indian Ed-tech platform today announced its partnership with McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas, Austin. Under the partnership, students who complete Great Learning’s flagship postgraduate program in Business Analytics will now receive dual certification from UT Austin as well as Great Lakes.

Great Learning’s PGP-BABI is ranked No.1 in India while UT Austin McCombs’ MS in Business Analytics is ranked No.2 in the world. This partnership will further fortify Great Learning’s business analytics program and will provide Indian professionals, access to some of the best analytics faculty and course content in the world.

Across programs, Great Learning has a completion rate of 90%, which is among the best completion rates globally for online programs. Over 70% alumni of Great Learning’s PGP-BABI have achieved career transitions within six months of completing the program, demonstrating the practical relevance and industry acceptance of the Program.

The teaching methodology and content for the program has been developed by Faculty from Great Lakes, UT Austin and expert analytics practitioners and data scientists. As part of the partnership, UT Austin will conduct monthly online webinars for the program participants. They will also share problems and projects from their Analytics research. This will enable Great Learning students to broaden their horizons and appreciate various applications of analytics from around the world. The program also includes a mandatory capstone project spanning 3 months to ensure hands on learning. The topic of the capstone project of each student will be jointly approved by Great Learning and UT Austin Faculty. After the completion of the course, students will be awarded Dual Certificates from Great Lakes and the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business.

According to Nasscom, over 2 million professionals in India will require reskilling in the next 4-5 years. This has led to massive demand for courses in analytics and other digital skills. Sectors like IT & BFSI are the leading demand drivers for analytics professionals. Some of the top roles for analytics professionals today are Analytics Manager, Business Analyst, Research Analyst, Data Analyst, SAS Analyst, Analytics Consultant & Statistical Analyst, Data Scientist
