Hyderabad: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad has invited applications from eligible candidates for MTech programmes for January 2020 session.
Departments Accepting MTech Admissions for January 2020 session: Artificial Intelligence, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Electrical Engineering.
Eligibility Criteria for Application for Artificial Intelligence: The candidate must have earned BTech/BE/MSc/Equivalent Degree in any discipline, and have a valid GATE score in CS/EC/EE/MA/ST. The applicant must have already earned BTech/BE/MSc or, at least, should be in the final year of the respective studies. In the latter case, it would be assumed that the candidate will be able to complete the degree by the time of MTech admission.
Selection Process for Artificial Intelligence: For admission to the program, there will be a preliminary shortlisting depending upon the the academic background and GATE score. Candidates who satisfy the shortlisting cutoff need to appear for a written test and/or an interview. The department reserves the right to set any cutoff for the shortlisting of M-Tech applications. In addition, the department has the right not to select anybody if no appropriate candidates are found.

Key Dates: The closing date for submission of application is 14 Nov 2019.
The Admission Notification mentioned that no admissions are available under Ministry of HRD fellowship for MTech. Admissions are available only under IIT Hyderabad project mode and other funding agencies. Accommodation for such admissions will not be provided by Institute due to shortage of hostel facilities and candidates have to make their own arrangements.
