Vijayawada: Aspiring Minds, India’s largest player in the field of employability assessment, successfully organized National Employability Conclave in Vijayawada, the second such conclave of the FY2016-17, held on 2 September 2016 at The Gateway Hotel, Vijayawada. The NEC saw large participation from over 70 Training and Placement leaders, top management of the colleges/universities and corporations like Oracle India.
On this occasion, ‘Career Guru Awards’ were also presented at the event to recognize the outstanding effort and constant contribution of Training and Placement Officers towards fulfilling the placement aspirations of their students. The winners in the four categories are as followed: Performing Minds Award – Mr. Vijay Maruthi Babu, VR Siddhartha Institute of Technology; Inspiring Minds Award- Mr. Madhan, Aditya Engineering College; Visionary Minds Award- Mr. Sai Krishna Kota, Gudlavalleru Engineering College; and Young Achiever Award – Mr Giridhar Kumar, G. Pullaiah College of Engineering and Technology.
Aspiring Minds said that the company initiated National Employability Conclave in 2012 to provide a single platform for employers and talent custodians to spur new thoughts and best practices in tailor-making the training and placement programs to nurture fresh talent towards greater employability. The employability assessment claimed that NEC 2015-16 saw a resounding success with 800+ Training & Placement officers representing student population close to a million coming to the 11 conclaves conducted in 11 cities across India.
